Transmission 5 Dance AI: Solo and Duo Explained
Last updated: Oct 31, 2026
Solo replaces the left dancer and keeps the partner. Duo uses two individual photos to replace both. Compare the existing examples; new generations use 10 credits.
Solo and Duo describe how many people are replaced, not how many dancers remain on screen. Solo replaces one dancer; Duo replaces both. The website currently shows three historical test videos. Use the homepage studio to generate with credits.
Solo: one individual photo, two people on screen
The demonstrated Solo workflow uses one individual photo. That person's appearance replaces the dancer on the left while the original partner stays in the scene. The result still contains two people.
Our showcase includes male and female Solo examples. Watch both to inspect individual results, rather than treating one successful frame as a guarantee of identity or clothing consistency.
Duo: two individual photos, both dancers replaced
The demonstrated Duo workflow uses two separate individual photos. Photo 1 supplies the left dancer, and photo 2 supplies the right dancer. Both original dancers are replaced.
One combined group photo is a different input. The published Duo test does not establish support for uploading a group photo directly. If a future service accepts a different input, that would need its own validation and instructions.
| Detail | Solo | Duo |
|---|---|---|
| Individual photos | One | Two |
| Dancers replaced | Left dancer | Both dancers |
| Original partner | Remains | Replaced |
| People visible | Two | Two |
What the photos and reference video control
The photos supply the replacement subjects' appearance. The fixed reference supplies the parking-lot choreography, scene and camera movement. This is different from a hand-swipe effect that reveals a new outfit after covering the lens.
The demonstrated workflow does not require a custom motion prompt. Merely naming a dance in a general video prompt does not establish that a tool can reproduce the exact routine or replace two subjects independently.
Review the three examples
The male Solo, female Solo and Duo examples are each 10 seconds, 720p, vertical 9:16 and silent. Review faces, hands, feet, clothing and the moments when the dancers overlap. Unseen body details can be filled in by AI, and results vary.

Current availability and photo consent
These are previously generated examples, free to watch. To create a new video, sign in and use the homepage studio. Solo and Duo each use 10 credits; results and completion times vary.
Only prepare photos of yourself or adults who consented to this use. Clear faces, even lighting and visible bodies help you assess the inputs, but do not guarantee a particular output. The examples are silent and do not grant music rights.
